Europe in 10 000 photos

This summer we went to Europe. And took some photos. Or rather 10 000, that turned into 5 minutes of video.

We originally set out to patch our scratch map. In practice this meant visiting the Vatican, San Marino, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Visiting the first two of course meant a trip to Italy too. And when you are in Liechtenstein it’s only a very short walk to Austria. We literally just took a few steps inside the country, but the border was crossed!

But this year we decided to capture our vacation memories in a sightly different way. Rather than taking regular photos and videos we decided to create an entire video in timelapses and hyperlapses.

That turned out to take a fair amount of time. As a matter of fact 10 000 photos are not captured in a day. Nor are they edited and made into a video very quickly.
